3 Easy Ways to Make your Branding Better Today

Is your branding as good as it could be? Does it accurately represent who you are to your potential clients? If not, you need better branding. Businesses thrive on social media and web platforms when they have great and effective. Here are three easy ways to make your branding better today!

1.  Create for your target audience. If you don’t, you’ll probably be attracting the wrong people. You want to make sure all parts of your branding are created to attract your potential clients, including color, fonts, and word choices. Think about what your ideal client wants to see when they look for someone in your field.

2.  Remember the 3 C’s: Clean, clear, concise.

a. Clean: Keep your branding clean. Don’t clutter it up with tons of words. You’ll want to save most of them for your captions. Be smart about how you use negative space in your branding. Using the right amount of negative space allows the important parts of your branding to be noticed and keeps your branding looking sharp and easy to see.

b. Clear: Your potential clients should understand your business through your branding. You want them to get what your business is about without having to guess. For example, you wouldn’t use yellow or flowers in your branding for a business that’s not fun and exciting because you’d want to convey to a more serious tone.

c. Concise: Keep your branding concise. Limit yourself to how much “stuff” you put on your branding. Use only a few colors (we say 3 main colors and 2 accents – usually neutral colors) so you don’t overwhelm people. This is a great way for your friends and followers to recognize your brand immediately, especially if you use the same or similar colors consistently.

3.  Take advantage of stock photo websites! This is one of the best ways to up your branding game. You can go to tons of websites and search for photos that relate to your business. Some of our favorite sites are unsplash.com, pexels.com, and pixabay.com. Make sure the photos you choose are beautiful and clear as this will attract potential clients to your information.

Bonus tip: Pick photos that also use your branding colors to give your social media platforms, website, and email marketing a consistent look and feel.
